The aim of this initiative is to build the collective capacity of immigrant networks, so they can achieve more success in connecting their skilled immigrant members to employment.
After a comprehensive environmental scan, TRIEC has identified 72, active networks, operating within Ontario. These organizations collectively serve and reach more than 30,000 new, established, and prospective immigrants from both sector and ethno-specific groups.
From this scan, TRIEC has created a directory that lists close to 50 new and established sector and ethno-specific professional groups run by and for skilled immigrants.
What opportunities does the directory provide to you?
The directory is available for download by sector, ethno-specific networks, or in its entirety at Settlement.Org.
Settlement.Org is the leading online, immigrant serving portal that will increase the reach of the directory mostly to immigrants seeking to make connections within their professions.
