Looking back at ten years of immigration in Toronto

December 31, 2009
CBC Radio, Metro Morning

According to the latest statistics, more than half of Toronto's population was born outside Canada and this city is also home to the largest group of visible minorities in the country.

CBC Metro Morning's guest host Karen Horsman spoke with Myer Semiatycki, a professor of politics and immigration studies at Ryerson University, and also Kay Blair. She is the executive director of Community Micro-Skills Development Centre. It's an agency which, among other things, offers settlement and employment services for new immigrants.
