Akash Mahajan
Manager, Corporate and Stakeholder Relations, York

Akash is based out of the TRIEC office in Markham (housed within the United Way of York Region) where he is working on strengthening TRIEC's presence in York Region by maintaining and developing new relationships with employers and other stakeholders. Akash came to TRIEC from Manulife Financial where he worked as a corporate client advisor. In this role he managed a portfolio of 160 corporate clients at John Hancock (Manulife's US Pension Plan division). Prior to Manulife, Akash worked in promotions and marketing at ADS Media Inc, a Mississauga based ethic media company.

Akash has a solid background in marketing, business development, and relationship management. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Delhi, a post-graduate diploma in Marketing from the NIS, India and a post-graduate diploma in Media Studies from Humber College.
