Zabeen Hirji is the Chief Human Resources Officer at RBC. Her major areas of responsibility are HR Strategy, Change and Culture Management, Learning and Development, and Talent Management which includes Recruitment, Retention and Diversity. Zabeen has been with RBC for over thirty years with a career spanning retail banking, operations and credit cards.

Zabeen has an MBA from Simon Fraser University. She is a member of the Deans Advisory Council at Atkinson (York University) and a member of the Board of Directors for St. John's Rehabilitation Hospital. In 2005, she was named a Fellow of Centennial College in recognition of her contribution to achieving diversity in the workplace and in international leadership with respect to cultural competency and diversity.
