As FMC's Chief Executive Officer, Chris is responsible for building on the firm's vision and leading the implementation of FMC's Strategic Plan, which is focused on understanding and exceeding clients' expectations of service and value, and fostering a workplace of choice for the FMC team. With overall responsibility for the management and growth of FMC, Chris plays a leadership role not only in FMC's client relationships and business development, but also in the firm's commitment to corporate social responsibility.
Prior to assuming his role as FMC's CEO, Chris served as Managing Partner of FMC's Toronto office for six years, following his return to the firm after spending four years as Senior Vice-President, General Counsel and Secretary of Ivanhoe Cambridge, a leading Canadian and international developer, owner and manager of regional shopping centres. He specializes in commercial real estate, with a focus on the purchase and sale, development, financing and joint-venturing of commercial properties and portfolios. He also specializes in commercial leasing in the retail, office and industrial markets.
